Kipchaks in the first generation didn’t assimilate and retain their beliefs, customs, hairstyles and clothes. Christianization of Kipchaks was slow and brought the first success only in the middle of the 14th century. An important factor was the Kipchak identity belonging to certain clans and tribes . Rejection of it simplifies the process assimiliation . In the 15th century to become a Christian was equivalent to become Hungarian. be the focus has come Christian to mean a be the Hungarian .
