Analysis of the narrative, archeological, epigraphical sources and coinage, provides us the reconstruction of how the Temple was used for the construction of the image of Ausustus‟ policy in the East. The author characterizes the games connected with the dedication of the Temple, which included the naumachia, that was organized as a imitation of the battle of Salamin, and had a strong ideological component.
