The typological analysis of burins from Anetovka 2 and Big Akkarzha detected their almost complete typological and statistical identity, though in some specific characteristics these implements differ from burins of Epi-Aurignacian sites of the region. Other products with secondary processing from these sites (primarily backed microblades and scrapers) are very similar to each other, on the one hand, and have big enough differences from similar implements from Epi-Aurignacian sites of the region, on the other hand.Considering the current stage of scientific development, the existence of “EpiAurignacian admixture” on Epi-Gravettian sites must be proved by comprehensive analysis not only of flint implements, but also of cultural layer of these sites. The concept of «cultural contacts» is allowable, but only on the basis of solid arguements.</p>}, number={41}, journal={Zaporizhzhia Historical Review}, author={Pistruil , I.
