Sinti and Roma under the totalitarian Nazi regime

Abstract
The article is dedicated to one of the most painful problems for Sinti and Roma‘s minority – genocide during World War II. The article analyzes Roma‘s research of this period. This article is considered with preconditions, legal framework, methods of destruction of an ethnic group and installed a range of the number of victims of persecution. It was determined that Nazi‘s policy towards Roma was motivated by race. Moreover, the Roma‘s destruction was initially planned and made with a purpose. The attention is focused on the problem that genocide of Sinti and Roma cannot be underestimated, even in comparison with the Holocaust of the Jews.
